1. Services Provided

Lib’s Creative Studio provides website design, SEO setup, website audits, and related services as detailed in your chosen package or individual service agreement. All services are delivered as individual projects, not ongoing maintenance. Ongoing maintenance, updates, or support are not included unless agreed and booked as a separate service.

2. Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking and reserve project time (excluding website audits).

  • Website audits are charged at £175 and must be paid in full upfront to secure your booking. If you choose to book a website package within 30 days of receiving your audit, the £175 audit fee will be deducted from your package cost.

  • The remaining balance for all other services must be paid before project handover or website launch.

  • Payments are handled via PayPal.

  • Clients may use PayPal’s ‘Pay in 3’ instalment option where eligible.

  • Work will not begin until the deposit has cleared.

  • Final payment is due before website launch, transfer, or handover and no later than 7 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Websites will not be launched, transferred, or handed over until all outstanding payments have cleared.

3. Project Timelines

I aim to deliver all projects within realistic timeframes to ensure each one receives the attention it deserves. Estimated lead times are as follows:

  • Website Audits: Up to 7 working days

  • Full Website Fix: 2 - 4 weeks

  • Full Website Redesign 2 - 4 weeks

  • Beginner: 3 - 5 weeks

  • Growth: 4 - 6 weeks

  • Pro: 6 - 8 weeks

  • Elite: 8 - 10 weeks, depending on the number of products

  • Full Website SEO: 2 - 4 weeks, depending on the number of pages

  • Additional Website Pages: 2 - 4 weeks, depending on the number of pages

  • Product Upload & Optimisation: 1 - 3 weeks, depending on the number of products

The lead times shown above are approximate and begin once all required content, materials and website access have been provided. If content isn’t supplied by agreed deadlines, the project may be delayed or paused, and timelines will be adjusted accordingly. Any delays caused by third-party providers (e.g. Wix, Squarespace, or connected apps) are outside of my control and may affect timelines. Projects inactive for 30 days due to missing client communication or content may be considered abandoned. Restarting the project may require a rebooking fee and placement into the current schedule.

4. Revisions

  • Each project includes two rounds of revisions. Revisions cover reasonable changes such as text edits, image swaps, and minor layout adjustments. Significant redesigns, new pages, or additional features are quoted separately.

  • Additional revisions are charged at £50 per round unless otherwise agreed.

  • Revisions must be requested within 7 days of receiving the draft website.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information for their website

  • Ensuring any content provided (images, logos, copy) is owned by them or licensed for use

  • Supplying privacy policies, cookie policies, and terms of sale (if needed). I do not provide legal advice or create policy documents. Clients are responsible for supplying their own policies. If needed, I can recommend third-party template providers.

  • Setting up your own payment processing account - If your website includes an online shop, booking system, or any feature that will take payments, you’ll need to set up your own payment processing account (e.g. Wix Payments, PayPal, Stripe). I’ll guide you through where to set this up within your site dashboard, but you’ll be responsible for entering any information it asks for and uploading documents for ID verification if requested.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.

  • If you cancel after work has begun, you’ll be invoiced for all work completed up to the cancellation date. A summary of the work done can be provided if requested. Deposits remain non-refundable in all cases.

  • If Lib’s Creative Studio must cancel your project for any reason, any fees paid for uncompleted work will be refunded in full.

7. Digital Products

All digital products, including eBooks, guides, and downloadable resources, are delivered instantly after purchase. Due to the nature of digital products, purchases are non-refundable once the file has been accessed or downloaded, except where required by law.

If you experience a technical issue accessing your file, please contact Lib’s Creative Studio and we will ensure you can access your purchase. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy for digital goods.

8. Portfolio Rights

Lib’s Creative Studio may showcase completed projects in its portfolio, marketing materials, and social media to promote my services, unless you request otherwise in writing.

9. Confidentiality

Any information shared during the project will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

10. Ownership & Usage Rights

Until final payment, all design and content remain the property of Lib’s Creative Studio. Once final payment is received:

  • Clients own their website content and images provided by them.

  • Clients also own the finished website design once final payment has been received.

11. Website Platforms & Compatibility

I currently specialise in Wix websites, but can work on existing Squarespace and Shopify websites if agreed. Lib’s Creative Studio is not responsible for third-party platform issues (e.g. Wix hosting outages, Squarespace changes).

12. Access & permissions

To complete services that include technical SEO (metadata, alt text, etc), I’ll need admin access to your website. If someone else manages your website (a previous designer, developer or agency), you may need to ask them to grant access. Due to roles and permissions varying across platforms, I ask to be added as an administrator as standard. This ensures that I can complete the work properly, including any required back-end SEO.

Please be reassured that:

  • I will only access the areas needed to deliver the service you’ve booked

  • I will not view or interact with payment details, customer data, or sensitive account settings

Admin access can be removed immediately once the work is complete.

13. Website Audits

  • Website audits are advisory only.

  • An audit is charged at a fixed fee. The scope of findings may vary depending on access provided. Lack of admin access does not alter the audit fee.

  • An audit is a review and report only. No changes will be made to your website as part of this service.

  • Lib’s Creative Studio provides a report with recommendations, but implementation is a separate service.

14. SEO Disclaimer

Lib’s Creative Studio provides best-practice SEO setup and optimisation. This improves visibility but cannot guarantee specific search rankings or results. Ongoing performance depends on continued content updates, marketing activity, and competitive factors, which remain the responsibility of the client. Services are provided to professional standards, but no guarantees are made regarding business performance, sales, or financial outcomes resulting from the website.

15. Liability

Lib’s Creative Studio is not liable for:

  • Loss of earnings from website downtime

  • Issues caused by third-party apps, integrations, or plugins

  • Client-provided content (e.g. incorrect info, copyright infringements)

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the total amount paid for the service.

17. Events Outside My Control

Lib’s Creative Studio is not liable for delays or failure to deliver services caused by events outside reasonable control, including illness, power outages, internet outages, natural disasters, or platform failures.
